Built Around a Question Nobody Was Answering
Release Point Fit opened its doors in Durham in 2016 after years of watching fittings hit a wall: two golfers with nearly identical clubhead speed and launch numbers would leave with the same shaft recommendation, then report completely different results once they got on the course. The missing variable turned out to be timing — specifically, the moment each golfer's wrists actually released stored angle into the clubhead.
We built our bay around a synced high-speed camera and a wrist-mounted sensor that captures that exact moment, then layered a standard launch monitor on top of it. Every fitting since has started with a release-timing baseline, not a spec sheet.
