The things golfers ask most often before, during, and after a release-timing fitting.
What exactly is "release timing"?
It's the moment during your downswing when your wrists uncock and transfer stored angle into the clubhead. Golfers who release early are often described as "casting"; those who hold the angle longer release late. Both patterns are valid — they just call for different equipment.
Do I need a certain swing speed to benefit from a release-timing fitting?
No. Release timing matters at every swing speed. In fact, golfers with slower or more inconsistent swings often see the largest gains, since a mismatched release amplifies small timing errors into bigger misses.
How long does a session take?
Single-club fittings run 45–60 minutes. Iron set fittings run 60–90 minutes. A full bag release audit covering driver through putter typically takes 2.5–3 hours.
Am I required to buy clubs after the fitting?
No. You'll receive a full written release report with recommendations regardless of whether you order. If you do build with us afterward, your session fee is credited toward the total.
How is release-timing capture different from a regular launch monitor session?
A launch monitor tells you what happened to the ball. Our synced high-speed camera and wrist sensor tell you why — capturing the exact release angle and timing that produced that result, so recommendations address the cause rather than just the symptom.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring the clubs relevant to your fitting, the shoes you normally wear on the course, and a rough sense of your typical scores if you know them.
Do you fit left-handed golfers?
Yes. Our demo wall carries left-handed heads across every major category, and the release-timing rig works identically for right- and left-handed swings.
Can I get fit if I'm happy with my current clubs?
Absolutely. Plenty of clients come in just to confirm their current build actually matches their release timing, or to check lie angle and length on clubs they already own.
How long does a build take after I order?
Most builds are finished in-house within a week, since we stock components on-site rather than routing orders through an outside factory queue.
